V7 Technologies is hiring a Workday HCM – Payroll Lead for a large implementation supporting Higher Education & Government clients. Location: Atlanta, GA 30334 Employment: Contract Duration: 12 Months + Extension Client: Deloitte Work Arrangement: Hybrid Travel: 1–2 weeks per quarter Must-Have Skills: - Workday Payroll Certification – REQUIRED - Strong Workday Payroll functional experience - Workday Payroll configuration & implementation - Payroll workstream leadership experience - Payroll Compare planning & execution - End-to-end testing & test scenario development - User stories, requirements & design documentation - Cutover & deployment support - Client-facing / consulting experience - Strong communication and problem-solving skills Key Responsibilities: - Lead Workday Payroll design, configuration & delivery - Partner with client stakeholders to gather requirements - Configure Workday Payroll based on approved requirements - Lead Payroll testing and Payroll Compare activities - Analyze payroll results and resolve discrepancies - Support cutover, rollout and deployment - Provide knowledge transfer and functional guidance - Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders Preferred: - Higher Education experience - Government organization experience - Complex Workday Payroll implementations - Payroll cutover & rollout experience - Consulting/client-facing background Interested candidates: Please share your updated resume + Workday Payroll Certification details + current location + work authorization + availability.
