What the role covers
Spes 7h • Follow India is hiring again. But there’s a catch. 👀 The hiring market seems to be moving from: “We need people.” to: “We need the right people.” Recent indicators show India's job market picking up: 📈 Job postings rose 1.2% in July after three months of decline. 📈 Job postings were 8.3% higher than a year ago. 📈 97% of employers surveyed by Naukri said they are still hiring. 📈 79% expect to create new jobs in the second half of 2026. But hiring isn't becoming easier. It's becoming more selective. AI/ML hiring is surging, while traditional IT recruitment is much more targeted. Employers are increasingly looking for specific skills rather than simply adding headcount. And that's creating an interesting recruitment paradox: More jobs. More specialised requirements. More competition for the right talent. perhaps the biggest hiring question for the rest of 2026 isn't: “Are companies hiring?” It's: “Can companies identify and attract the talent they actually need fast enough?” Because having 200 open positions isn't a hiring strategy. It's a very impressive Excel sheet. 😄 What are you seeing in your industry — more hiring, more selective hiring, or both? #IndiaHiring #HiringTrends #TalentAcquisition #RecruitmentTrends #RPO #WorkforceStrategy #FutureOfWork #SpesStaffingSolutions … more 1
