We are Hiring: Senior Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist (UK Account). Are you an experienced finance professional with expertise in UK accounting and payroll? Penbrothers is looking for a proactive Senior Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist to join our team and take full ownership of the end-to-end financial accounting and payroll workflows. Role Details: Work Shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM PHT (UK Shift). Work Setup: Remote / Work from home. What we are looking for: Experience: 3–5 years of solid finance experience with at least 3 years specializing in end-to-end UK payroll and full-cycle bookkeeping. Core Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP compliance, UK payroll rules, trial balance reviews, accruals, prepayments, and GL maintenance. Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Xero or Sage, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial formulas). Preferred Background: Prior experience in a multi-entity or buy-and-build environment is a major advantage. Communication & Mindset: Excellent written and verbal English communication, sharp numerical accuracy, self-management, and an empathetic approach to resolving staff payroll queries.
