We're hiring! Join our Payroll & People Operations team at Back Market! We're looking for a Payroll & People Operations Specialist to join our team in Spain and play a key role in our People transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on payroll expertise with process improvement, HR technology and international collaboration. What's the mission? Own and manage our end-to-end Spanish payroll; work with Workday and Papaya Global; collaborate with our international People, Finance and Payroll teams; help streamline, improve and automate our People Operations processes; contribute to delivering an outstanding employee experience. Who are we looking for? 4–5+ years of solid experience managing Spanish payroll; strong knowledge of Spanish payroll regulations, taxation and social security; fluent English is essential; Spanish is an advantage but not mandatory; French is an advantage but not mandatory; an analytical, detail-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in HR technology and automation. Location & flexibility: You MUST be resident in Spain, but you don't necessarily need to live in Barcelona.
