Oficio Group is hiring a Junior Staff Accountant to support the State of Rhode Island’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). Location: Rhode Island (Cranston/Providence area). Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 remote. 35 hours/week. Contract: 1099, at least 5 years. Apply by October 23, 2026, at 4 PM ET. What you’ll do: review invoices and track payments; check financial records for accuracy; prepare reports and assist with reconciliations; support audits and financial system improvements. You may be a great fit if you have: a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; good Excel skills and basic accounting knowledge; strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
