CognoWiz is hiring a Functional Analyst / Business Analyst – Absence & Time for a client in Long Island, NY. Location: Long Island, NY – Onsite. Duration: 8 months. Experience: 10+ years. Interview: Onsite. The role requires strong PeopleSoft HCM expertise, especially in Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management and Time & Labor. Responsibilities: analyse, document and validate functional/business requirements; support PeopleSoft HCM implementation and production environments; work closely with Payroll & Benefits functional and technical teams; develop test plans, test cases and perform functional testing; troubleshoot application issues and provide functional solutions; develop SQL queries and formatted reports; prepare functional specifications, documentation and implementation procedures; collaborate with DBAs, system administrators, developers, integrators and vendors; provide production and batch processing support; assist with knowledge transfer and cross-training. Required skills: 10+ years in PeopleSoft HCM/HRMS; strong functional knowledge of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management and Time & Labor; hands-on experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Workflow, Component Interface, File Layouts, SQR, PeopleSoft Query and XML Publisher; strong SQL/PL-SQL skills; experience with requirements gathering, functional testing, troubleshooting and documentation; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
