Responsibilities: Contact customers about overdue invoices by phone and email; follow up consistently on payment commitments and unresolved balances; review account histories, invoices and payment records before outreach; explain balances clearly and resolve routine billing questions; document every interaction, commitment, dispute and next step in the client's system; escalate disputed invoices, hardship concerns and complex accounts; prepare regular updates on aging receivables, collection activity and issues requiring attention; handle customer and financial information confidentially. Qualifications: Experience in accounts receivable, collections, billing or customer account support; strong verbal and written communication; firm, composed demeanor; organized follow-through and accurate recordkeeping; good judgment with disputes or sensitive conversations; comfortable using spreadsheets and accounting, CRM or collections software; reliable internet connection and professional remote-work setup.
