Connectalents is seeking an Accounting Lead in Sheraton, Cairo. Job Role: manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities; manage the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely processing; manage the annual budgeting process, including budget preparation, monitoring and variance analysis; monitor actual performance against budget and provide explanations for significant variances; manage tax calculations, tax filings and tax portal submissions; ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, accounting requirements and company policies; review journal entries, reconciliations, invoices, payments and other accounting transactions; manage month-end and year-end closing activities; prepare and review financial reports and accounting statements; coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide the required financial documentation; ensure proper financial controls and accurate maintenance of accounting records; identify process gaps and implement improvements. What we're looking for: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related; 5+ years relevant accounting experience; proven experience in leading or supervising an accounting team; strong hands-on experience in Payroll, Budgeting, Tax, Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable; good knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes; good understanding of Egyptian tax regulations and tax procedures; good command of Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems; strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills; good communication and team leadership skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; English level B1.
